I couldn’t afford to buy a Kitchen Aid mixer, but at 1/3 the price I was able to buy this one. I got this at Wal-Mart for $119, vs $329 for the Kitchen Aid. This is a 4.7 qt, 6 speed mixer.

I always wanted a nice stand mixer, but never wanted one enough to spend 300 bucks. So, at the age of 55, I finally decided to pull the trigger & get one. I had the money for the Kitchen Aid version but decided to get the cheaper one & spend the difference on some kitchen gadgets and a Keurig machine.

I’m glad I did, because this mixer works great. I have mixed batters, pizza doughs, even meatloaf. The only problem I have is the beaters don’t get everything off of the bottom & I have to use a spatula. I don’t know if this is a problem with other mixers, but it is not that big of a deal.

One other problem is the fact that the accessory kit is never available for purchase. I really want that meat grinder & pasta maker.

This is a great buy for the simple fact that you will not use a stand mixer that often. So, unless you do a lot of baking or mixing there is no need for a $300+ model.

So, let me start by stating that the K-cup coffee makers are wasteful, expensive & generally bad for the environment. But I sure love them.

I mean, how convenient is it to brew a coffee, hot cider, hot chocolate & tea without ever washing a pot? I love knowing that when I get a craving for any of those it’s just a push of a button away.

I did get spoiled with the commercial one at work as it had an H2O feed, so you never needed to fill up the container with water.

Even though this was a splurge item, I’m glad I bought it, because it is easy to use, has a pretty good size water reservoir, seems to be very durable & there are no weird adapters to mess with.

I had never used an air frier until I bought this one for my wife, Christmas 2001. This is the MOOSOO 19 Quart 8-in-1 air frier.

I only paid $99 during the Christmas sale at Wal-Mart.

I have to say it is amazing how well it cooks frozen things like fries or tater tots. I mean 15 minutes & frozen potatoes come out crispy, golden and delicious. Not to mention it will also; bake, roast & rotisserie (I have not tried that one yet.

I use this thing every day. I make pizzas, snacks, toasted sandwiches, frozen egg rolls (yum) & awesome garlic toast. I was skeptical when I got it, but so far it has been awesome.

I also love the fact that it is made to look great on the counter. No hiding this in a cupboard, where it will be forgotten. The stainless steel makes it look like a pro appliance for sure.

FYI. Today I made an air fried ‘grilled’ cheese sandwich & it was awesome.
